A man in his 40s was arrested after failing to appear in court.
After receiving information from Harrogate Magistrates' Court on October 2, two Craven Neighbourhood Police Team officers arrested the man from Cross Hills by midday on October 3.
He was wanted for failing to attend court over driving offences.
A spokesperson for the Craven NPT said: "If you have been given a court date, make sure you attend.
"Failing to do so can result in a warrant being issued and officers being tasked to locate and arrest you.
"In this case, information was received on Friday and, less than 24 hours later, the male had been located, arrested, and was on his way into custody.
"The message is simple: If the court tells you to attend, attend.
"It's far easier than having the police turn up at your door."
