Frazer Theatre in Knaresborough to host supernatural thriller 'guaranteed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats'

Knaresborough Players are preparing to thrill local audiences next week with the launch of their new production of an award-winning West End hit.

Running from Wednesday, October 14 to Saturday, October 17 at Frazer Theatre in Knaresborough at 7.30pm, the acclaimed amateur theatrical group are confident their version of Danny Robins’ 2:22 A Ghost Story will keep audiences on the edge of their seats right up until a final, shocking climax.

Directed by John Pearce, the production features an exceptional local ensemble cast bringing the suspenseful and critically-acclaimed supernatural thriller to life: Kevin Donnelly, Lindsey Martin, Lisa Morton and Rich McCulloch

Originally produced by Runaway Entertainment and premiered at the Noël Coward Theatre in London, this amateur production is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.

The plot centres on Jenny who believes that her new home is haunted.

Every night at exactly 2:22 am, she hears unsettling sounds echoing through the house.

Her sceptic husband, Sam, insists there must be a rational explanation.

During a tense dinner party with old friend Lauren and her new partner Ben, belief clashes with scepticism, and secrets unravel.

Together, the four decide to stay awake until 2:22 am to find out the truth once and for all.

Is the supernatural real, or is the mind playing tricks?

And what really happens at 2:22?

There will be a matinee performance of 2:22 A Ghost Story on Saturday, October 17 at 2pm.
