The event, held on Saturday, October 3, offered a packed programme of activities and entertainment, with something for visitors of all ages and abilities.
Apple pressing was at the heart of the day, with visitors able to see fresh apples transformed into juice, while apple-themed treats added to the seasonal atmosphere.
There were also accessible games and activities, stalls, a tombola and a petting farm, alongside hot food and a barbecue.
Live music provided the soundtrack as visitors enjoyed the gardens and took the opportunity to meet members of Ripon Community Link and find out more about the charity’s work.
The annual event is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, while also raising awareness of the projects and activities supported by donations to Ripon Community Link.
With plenty of autumn sunshine, food, music and community activities, Apple Day once again brought people together for a relaxed day at the Walled Garden.
Victoria Ashley, CEO of Ripon Community Link, said the charity was delighted to welcome people to the event and showcase the work taking place across the organisation.
