A YORK holiday park could be set for changes.
An application from Prestige Country Parks would see it permitted to put touring caravans on its site in Strensall all year round.
The holiday park company's plans stated the caravans would not be occupied from the end of October to the start of March every year.
They added they would be offered for people to own outright and stay in at their leisure or to sub-let them to friends, family and others during lawful occupancy periods.

The site currently has planning permission for up to 40 caravans which can be occupied until October 31 and from March 1 every year.
Plans stated the latest application lodged with York Council sought to clarify that it could site the caravans all year round, even though they would not be occupied.
The application stated: "The site's primary use is a touring caravan park, which has been the case since at least July 2004.
"Planning conditions are explicit that touring caravans may not be stored on the site between October 32 and March 1.
"This proposal seeks to confirm that the touring caravans may be sited on their pitches and connected to services, but not occupied, in compliance with a caravan site licence all year round, which would be compliant with the planning conditions.
"The proposal is not to have the site converted into a touring caravan storage site."
