DELAYS are mounting on a major York road after reports of a van on fire.
Reports are coming in that a van is currently on fire on the eastbound carriageway of the A64 on the outskirts of York between the Fulford Interchange and Grimston Bar.
These delays do not appear to be affecting the rest of the ring road, however traffic in the area is said to be at a standstill.
"Severe delays of eleven minutes and delays increasing," said a spokesperson for the AA.
More to follow.
