An IT team in Bradford swapped screens for paint rollers during a day of volunteering.
Staff from Accent Housing’s IT department spent the day brightening up Aurelia Court, an independent living scheme in Manningham.
They refreshed a communal lounge and fully renovated a guest room.
Sion Harrison, director of information technology at Accent Housing, said: "Days like this demonstrate the incredible difference colleagues can make when they come together to support our communities.
"The team worked tirelessly to refresh important communal spaces for residents, while strengthening relationships and creating lasting memories.
"We’re proud of everyone who took part and grateful to our partners who helped make it happen."
Bagnalls Painting and Decorating supported the project by donating paint and equipment.
Lizzy Robinson, regional specialist housing manager at Accent, said: "It was such a fantastic day, and the lounge and guest room look lovely.
"I visited the scheme the following morning and had the pleasure of speaking with two residents who were both delighted with the newly decorated lounge.
"They shared how pleased they are with all the recent improvements, including the new communal kitchen, new lounge carpet and redecoration, and said they feel Aurelia House is a great place to live."
