A spokesman said: "Step back to the 16th century and watch as the line between prophecy and reality blurs, as Mother Shipton reveals her next fate at the York Dungeon.
"In the hands of this prophetess, there is no escaping what the future holds."
The show features chilling tales and flickering fires.
A spokesman said: "The York Dungeon is a uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you away to the city's most perilous past.
"See, hear, feel and (ahem) smell the chillingly amusing characters of the ‘bad old days’ as they come to life before you."
Tickets for the York Dungeon start at £19 and can be booked online.
