The Leeds city centre chippy is loved by its customers

A Leeds city centre chippy has been declared ‘absolutely fantastic’ and ‘amazing’.

Slightly hidden away in Leeds, you’ll find popular fryer Fish Out in Wellington Street. On the menu, you will find fish and chip shop favourites with haddock, cod, scampi and calamari all there to be enjoyed.

Additionally, there’s chicken goujons, chicken bites, pies and more. Clearly doing lots of things right, Fish Out receives regular rave five-star reviews on TripAdvisor.

Michelle B posted: “Lovely friendly staff. Got there just before closing time, cooked us fish and chips on the spot and gave us some complimentary curry sauce. Best fish we’ve had in a long time - the batter was so light and crispy. Fish thick and pure white. Nothing was greasy.”

While Stephen P wrote: “Perfect haddock and chips. The flavour was exceptional and fantastic batter. A brilliant lunchtime find.”

We saw Martin F comment: “Absolutely fantastic fish and chips in the heart of Leeds. urThe portions were tremendous and very reasonably priced for a family of four.
