The reason for the closure is currently unknown, however it comes as the Coney Street revamp gets underway, with work beginning to improve retail space, add upper-floor accommodation and create new hospitality venues.
Plans for the wider project include creating a new public space called St Martin’s Yard, linking Coney Street to the riverfront as part of the Coney Street Riverside project,
Shoes4U will be open until tomorrow evening.
