A popular retailer in York has announced its reopening date following a huge refurbishment.
HMV on Coney Street in York closed temporarily on Monday 31 August for a ‘glow up’ – with a big transformation happening inside the music, film, and pop culture merch shop.
Now, signs in the window have revealed that the store will reopen on Friday 23 October at 9am.
And they’re giving away a ‘free opening day swag bag’ to the first 25 customers to make a purchase on reopening day.
‘We look forward to welcoming you to our new shop!’
The retailer has traded in Coney Street since before 1990, and the major new refurbishment is set to inject a fresh breath of life into the high street staple.
