Seven colleagues have completed a 198km ultramarathon to raise more than £1,000 for charity.
The challenge, completed in under 10 hours at Yorkshire Building Society’s (YBS) Bradford headquarters, took place on September 30 in support of the Society’s partnership with food rescue charity Felix.
The distance covered on treadmills is equivalent to travelling from Bradford to the building society’s Peterborough office.
Samuel Gee, a mortgage advisor at YBS, said: "We wanted to take on a challenge that would really push us while supporting a cause that makes a difference in communities across the country.
"The distance was daunting, but knowing we're helping raise money for Felix kept us motivated throughout the day.
"Every pound raised goes towards the Building Skills for the Future programme, helping people in communities up and down the country improve their employability prospects."
The partnership with Felix supports the Building Skills for the Future programme, which provides work experience, qualifications, and job-readiness training across the UK.
It also funds outreach sessions to promote financial wellbeing and boost confidence in the job market.
Previous fundraising efforts by YBS colleagues have included the Yorkshire Three Peaks, the Ilkley Cow and Calf Zipline Challenge, and an overnight climb of Snowdon.
