A ROAD will be temporarily closed for waterworks.
Moorview Drive in Bradford is set to be shut between numbers 2 and 4.
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has issued a temporary prohibition of traffic order for the road.
The closure will be in effect from 8am on October 8 until 6pm on October 9, although it could be extended for up to eighteen months if required.
The order, issued under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, specifies that the closure is necessary to allow waterworks to be carried out.
Vehicles involved in the works will be exempt from the prohibition, and pedestrian access will remain open.
No alternative routes have been proposed for vehicular traffic affected by this order.
The closure notice was issued by the Director of Legal and Governance at the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and was dated October 1.
