A bridge in York city centre is closed due to a police incident.
Ouse Bridge is closed in both directions on Saturday night (October 3).
At least four police vans, an ambulance and a fire engine were on the scene at 8pm.
It is understood that the incident concerns a person on the wrong side of the bridge’s wall.
Police are urging people to avoid the area.
