PC Nicholas Woods of the Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "It is extremely disappointing that Tadcaster Bowling Club has once again been targeted by offenders.
"The club is a valued part of the local community, and we are working to identify those responsible. We are asking anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward and speak with us."
Officers said they are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw suspicious activity or individuals near the club during the time of the incident.
Residents and businesses are also encouraged to check CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage that could help the investigation and to report any future sightings of unauthorised or suspicious individuals at the club immediately to police.
PC Woods added: "Prompt reporting allows officers to attend and investigate at the earliest opportunity."
Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 or online.
