A holiday park is inviting guests to enjoy an autumn or winter getaway on the Yorkshire coast.

South Cliff Holiday Park in Bridlington is promoting its coastal location as a relaxing base for exploring the East Yorkshire coastline during the quieter months.

Councillor Nick Coultish, cabinet member for culture, leisure, and tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: "South Cliff Holiday Park offers everything you need for a memorable break in the quieter months.

"Visitors can enjoy a peaceful coastal retreat, comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to the very best of Bridlington and the Yorkshire coast.

"We look forward to welcoming our autumn and winter guests."

Bridlington is situated along the King Charles III Coast Path and is within easy reach of woodland trails and nature reserves such as Danes Dyke and Flamborough South Landing.

Bridlington Spa is hosting its Christmas pantomime Cinderella, alongside other seasonal events.

Nearby Sewerby Hall and Gardens will run its Spooky Sewerby programme in October and will soon announce its Christmas events.

Entry to the grounds remains free until late March, excluding the October half-term holiday.

The Land Train runs until the end of October, connecting Bridlington Spa, the promenade, and Sewerby Hall and Gardens during the week.
