New food offering arrives at the Designer Outlet York

A Greek street food brand has launched a new location at Designer Outlet York.
Kouzina Greek is now open in the centre’s Food Quarter, serving wraps, gyros, salads, and other Mediterranean favourites.
To celebrate its launch, the first 100 customers received a free wrap, creating excitement among shoppers eager to be among the first to sample the menu.
York is the street food chain's fourth location after Alfreton, Cannock and Swindon.

Paul Tyler, centre manager at Designer Outlet York, said: "We're delighted to welcome Kouzina Greek to the centre.
"The fantastic response from customers on opening day highlights the appetite for exciting new dining experiences, and we're confident it will be a popular addition for both shoppers and visitors to York."

Kouzina Greek said: "We're known for our Greek and Cypriot street food - our chicken and pork gyros wrapped in warm Greek pitta with tzatziki, crispy halloumi fries with hot oregano honey, falafel with houmous and tahini, and loaded fries piled high with gyros and sauce & baklava for afters.

"Kouzina really started years before it had a name, in Greek Cypriot kitchens in Cyprus and England where food was the centre of everything.

"Any excuse for a get-together meant our mums and grandmas cooking up souvla, moussaka, dolmades and stifado for half the family, and the rest of us getting roped in to help.
"Those are the recipes we'll be cooking in York, and we're so happy to be sharing them with you."
