A man has died after his car crashed into a ditch in Ryedale.
It happened between Little Edstone and Marton near Kirkbymoorside at around 5pm on Tuesday (29 September).
A grey Volvo XC60 ended up in a shallow ditch by the side of the road.

Paramedics treated the 91-year-old driver, but he died at the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The road remained closed until just before 10pm while the collision scene was examined by the police and to allow the vehicle to be safely recovered.
“At this stage, it appears that the collision may have resulted from a medical episode. We are supporting the man’s family while the investigation continues.”
Officers are asking anyone who saw the grey Volvo SUV in the build-up to the collision or drivers with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
