A hospital charity has received thousands of pounds to support improvements in emergency care.
The £3,300 donation to Airedale Hospital & Community Charity, from Global Precision Group, will go towards the Emergency Department Appeal.
The appeal aims to enhance patient and family areas, specialist paediatric facilities, and bereavement spaces at Airedale Hospital.
Carla Weatherall, charity fundraiser at Airedale Hospital & Community Charity, said: "We are incredibly grateful to Global Precision Group for their continued support of our charity and hospital.
"Their generosity is helping us improve the experience of patients and families during what can often be some of the most difficult and emotional times of their lives."
Earlier this year, the company also funded two recliner chairs through the End of Life Comfort Chairs Appeal, providing comfort for loved ones staying at patients’ bedsides.
The Emergency Department at Airedale Hospital opened in 2014 and now treats more than 75,000 patients every year.
The appeal was launched to update and enhance some of the department’s busiest areas.
Andrew Sale, managing director at Global Precision Group, said: "We are proud to support Airedale Hospital and Community Charity and the incredible work carried out by staff across the hospital."
