A beauty therapist who opened her own salon less than a year ago says being shortlisted for a best in Bradford award feels like a "full circle moment".
Radiant by Rosie, based at Albion Mills Business Centre in Greengates, opened on October 20, 2025, has been named among the finalists in this year's competition.
Owner Rosie Brady says the recognition has come as a huge surprise.
"I was honestly shocked," she said.
"There are so many amazing beauty salons in the area, so to be recognised in this way truly means the world to me."

Nomination 'means everything'
Unlike many salons, Radiant by Rosie is a one-person business, making the nomination particularly meaningful.
"It really does mean everything to me as it is just me in my salon," Rosie said.
"It is a real reminder that all the time, love and effort I put in doesn't go unnoticed."
Journey started during Covid
Rosie's journey into the beauty industry began later in life after her children had grown older.
She was close to completing her beauty therapy training when the Covid pandemic brought the industry to a standstill.
While the shutdown delayed her plans, it also confirmed how passionate she was about beauty therapy.
After gaining experience working alongside established therapists in a local salon, she took the leap and opened her own treatment room.
'I try to make every visit personal'
The salon has quickly built a loyal client base, with Rosie believing the personal experience she offers is what sets her business apart.
"I try to make every visit personal and relaxing," she said.
"It isn't just about the treatments, I focus on the experience my clients receive, making them comfortable and confident."
Operating from a private treatment room allows Rosie to offer one-to-one appointments tailored to individual clients.

She says the quieter environment particularly appeals to people who prefer privacy or simply want an opportunity to switch off from the demands of daily life.
The salon offers a variety of treatments, although gel nails remain the most popular service among customers.
Future plans to expand
Rosie credits much of her success to support from the local community, with recommendations and word-of-mouth referrals helping the business to grow during its first year.
Looking ahead, she is preparing to move into a larger treatment room at the same location, giving clients even more space to relax.
Winning the award would mark a significant milestone as the salon approaches its first anniversary.
"It would mean so much," Rosie said.
"I am still growing my business, so to get that recognition so early on would be amazing."
She added: "A massive thank you to everyone who nominated me and to those who have taken the time to vote.
"Your support and loyalty mean so much and I am so grateful."
