BARTLE Lane will close temporarily due to gas works.
The closure, from Great Horton Road to Back Bartle Lane, starts on October 12 and is expected to last until October 23.
Only vehicles involved in the works will be allowed access, but pedestrian access will remain open.
Drivers can use alternative routes via the unaffected section of Bartle Lane, Hollybank Road, and Great Horton Road.
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has stated the closure will start at 8am and is expected to end at 11.55pm on October 23.
However, the closure could stay in place for up to 18 months if necessary.
The council has informed the public through a notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The works are deemed essential, prompting the temporary prohibition of traffic on the specified section of Bartle Lane.
The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused during this period.
