Amazing businesses in Leeds are celebrating
Leeds restaurants and takeaways have tasted success in a big awards contest.
The 15th Annual English Curry Awards 2026 has crowned the best restaurants, chefs, takeaways and hospitality professionals from across the country. There’s been lots of Yorkshire recognition in the latest edition of the competition.
Brought to the industry by Oceanic Awards and partnered by Curry CNCT, the contest has recognised excellence across a wide range of categories, celebrating everything from outstanding restaurants and talented chefs to takeaways, new businesses, customer service and individuals who have made a lasting contribution to the sector.
Yasmin Mahmood, chief executive officer of Oceanic Awards said: “Celebrating 15 years of the English Curry Awards is a fantastic milestone. The curry industry is built on passion, hard work, family and an incredible commitment to hospitality, and these awards give us the opportunity to recognise the people who make it so special.
“The standard this year has been exceptional, and we would like to congratulate every winner, Outstanding Award recipient and those Recognised for Excellence. Their achievements are a testament to the strength and diversity of the curry industry across England.”
