A logistics firm has opened a new 190,000 sq ft warehouse to support its expanding operations.
Campeys of Selby said the site at Sherburn 42 more than triples its storage capacity and marks a major step in its expansion into the food and retail logistics sector.
The investment follows the company securing two "significant" storage contracts with leading food manufacturers.
Harry Campey, commercial and operations director, said: "The opening of our new, net zero Sherburn 42 facility is a hugely significant step forward for Campeys.
"More than tripling our storage capacity gives us the scale and flexibility to support our existing customers while creating significant capacity for future growth.
"Securing major contracts with food manufacturers has provided an excellent foundation for the new operation, but this investment is about much more than meeting immediate demand.
"We are building a logistics hub and infrastructure that will power the continued growth of Campeys for many years to come."

Around 50 per cent of the new warehouse will be used for the new contracts and existing operations, with the remainder available for future customers.
The firm said the site, which is net zero from launch, is a "major milestone" and will reinforce its position as a specialist logistics and storage partner for food manufacturers and retailers.
The facility will also become Campeys’ new head office and is expected to be fully operational before the end of 2026.
It will consolidate the company’s existing offices, warehousing, and pallet network operations into a single, strategically located hub.
Mr Campey said: "Bringing our head office, warehousing operations and pallet network activity together under one roof will also create a much more integrated business, allowing us to improve efficiency and deliver an even stronger service to our customers.
"With 24/7 operation and extension of our BRCGS accreditation planned for 2027, we are positioning the new site to support some of the UK’s lrgest food manufacturers and retailers and to establish Campeys as an increasingly important player in the sector."
The company plans further development of the site into 2027, including 24/7 operations and extended BRCGS accreditation.
This will enable the business to expand its food-grade storage and distribution services.
Sherburn 42 is a new industrial development in North Yorkshire, with strong links to the UK logistics network, including motorways, ports and rail freight.
The facility is built to net zero standards and has a BREEAM Excellent rating.
It features rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and electric HGV charging infrastructure to support Campeys’ growing fleet of electric vehicles.
The company said the site is central to its decarbonisation and net zero goals.
