A CAR has ended up on its roof after a crash on a motorway in North Yorkshire.
The county's fire and rescue service said crews from Knaresborough, Harrogate and Wetherby in West Yorkshire were called to the A1(M) at 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 30).
The incident happened on the northbound carriageway near junction 47, which is for the A59 to York and Harrogate.
A North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "On arrival crews found one vehicle had left the road and ended up on its roof.
"All occupants were out of the vehicle on arrival of the crews and crews left them in the hands of Ambulance crews."
