Property and land in Ilkley, Addingham and Guiseley are among the latest assets earmarked for sale by Bradford Council.
The authority is in the midst of a major disposal programme involving dozens of assets, ranging from plots of land to buildings and car parks, following the Government's agreement in 2024 to provide the council with exceptional financial support to help it avoid bankruptcy.
Under the arrangement, the council has been permitted to use receipts from asset sales to help fund day-to-day services, something that would not normally be allowed under local government finance rules.
Typically, councils can only spend money raised through asset disposals on other capital projects.
New council documents reveal that Interim Strategic Director of Corporate Resources and Section 151 Officer Stephen Mair has approved the disposal of a number of additional assets.
No sale values have yet been revealed.
What is up for sale?
Among the properties set to be marketed is The Arcade on South Hawksworth Street in Ilkley.
The Victorian property forms part of the town's historic arcade and comprises a two-storey stone-built building with timber sash windows arranged around a covered central arcade.
Providing around 5,931 square feet of accommodation, the premises were originally designed to house eight separate retail units but are currently occupied as a single entity.
The tenant - Outside the Box - uses the building for a range of purposes including a café, events venue and offices.
The property is held on a 125-year long lease from June 1986.
Also included is a brownfield site at the junction of Church Street and Main Street in Addingham.
The 0.56-acre site, previously used by Highway Services as a storage depot for building materials, occupies a prominent corner position near existing housing and open countryside.
The land has been identified in the Addingham Neighbourhood Plan as a preferred housing site and is considered suitable for the development of up to eight homes.
A further asset approved for disposal is Hawkstone Farm, including Hawkstone Wood, at Hollins Lane, Guiseley.
The asset comprises a Grade II Listed farmhouse with associated outbuildings on land extending to 58 acres (23.47 hectares) used primarily as grazing for a dairy herd.
The property is subject to a lease from 1971 and is covered under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986.
Councillors have until Friday, October 2, to call in any of the proposed disposals for further scrutiny before the sales process progresses.
