A CARE home manager is on a mission to complete 100 acts of kindness in her community.
Carmen Susai, who will manage the soon-to-open Bradford Hall care home in Eccleshill, is carrying out the challenge across Bradford before the home officially opens.
Her aim is to connect with local people and give back to the community.
Ms Susai said: "I’ve really enjoyed getting out and meeting people across Bradford while the home is being built.
"There are so many brilliant organisations and groups doing important work locally, so it’s been lovely to find different ways that we can support them.
"I’ve always enjoyed putting hampers together, so it’s been really nice to be able to put that to good use and support some great causes in the local community."
So far, she has donated hampers to community groups and plans to give another to St Luke’s Hospital for dialysis patients.
She has also donated toys to a toddler group at Bolton Woods Community Centre.
Bradford Hall will offer residential, dementia, respite, and end-of-life care in a modern, purpose-built setting.
The care home, which is still under construction, will include 72 bedrooms and is expected to open later this year.
