A ONE-MILE event is returning to Leeds as part of a marathon weekend.
The MND Mile will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2027, inspired by the legacy of Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow CBE as part of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon celebrations.
Held at Leeds Beckett University’s Headingley Campus, the event aims to promote inclusivity and raise awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Tristan Batley-Kyle, operations director at Run For All, said: "We're delighted to bring the MND Mile back for 2027.
"It’s a truly special event that allows people of all ages and abilities to be part of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon weekend while helping to raise vital awareness and funds for those affected by MND.
"The support for this event continues to be incredible, and it's a powerful way of ensuring Rob's legacy lives on through community, inclusivity, and collective action.
"We encourage everyone to get involved and be part of a memorable weekend in Leeds."
