A Bradford fast-food chain is turning pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Mr T’s' Leeds Road branch is swapping its usual packaging for pink bags, boxes, and cups throughout October in support of the campaign, which encourages people to check themselves, start conversations, and raise awareness about breast cancer.
A spokesperson for Mr T’s said: "If seeing our pink packaging makes just one more person stop, think, check themselves or start a conversation, then turning pink means something."
The campaign also aims to raise awareness that men can be affected by breast cancer, not just women.
Mr T’s hopes the visible change will spark important conversations about knowing what is normal for your body and seeking medical advice if something doesn’t feel right.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed every October to promote early diagnosis, raise awareness of signs and symptoms, and support those affected by the disease.
Mr T’s joins businesses and communities across the country in marking the campaign and spreading its message.
The business said the change is about much more than simply changing the colour of its packaging.
