Portrack Fish & Chip Shop has been put up for sale after serving customers in Stockton for 10 years.

A North East fish and chip shop is up for sale after its owner announced they were stepping down following 10 years of serving customers.

The owner of Portrack Fish & Chip Shop in Stockton announced on Tuesday (September 30), that the shop was hitting the market.

In a post on the shop's Facebook page, the owner said: "After much consideration, I have made the difficult decision to put my fish and chip shop up for sale due to personal reasons.

"It has been a big part of my life for the past 10 years, and I am now looking for someone who may be interested in taking the business forward."
