Amanda Owen is set to reach one of the biggest milestones yet in the restoration of Anty John's when Our Farm Next Door returns for a fourth series.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess and her family have spent years restoring the remote Swaledale farmhouse, with the work now entering its third year.

New details shared by Wise Owl Films, the production company behind the show, reveal the family will move closer than ever to actually living inside Anty John's.

The company said the new series was filmed "across Winter 2025 and Spring 2026" and will follow the Owens as the renovation of their "new family home" continues.

One of the biggest developments is expected to come at the end of the series.

Wise Owl Films said: "The series ends in the height of Spring with a never-to-be-forgotten day as Amanda and the girls prepare for their first sleepover at Anty John's."

It will mark a major change for a building which viewers have previously seen in various stages of disrepair and restoration.

The latest series will also show considerable progress inside the farmhouse.

Wise Owl Films said the property's plastered walls are "finally dry", allowing work on the interior to move forward.

Floorboards will arrive, painting will begin, and furniture collected by Amanda over the years will start being moved into individual rooms.

But the project is still far from straightforward.

The production company said the family will also tackle "one of the project's most significant milestones" by bringing a piped water supply across the moors and into the farmhouse for the first time.

The work will take place during a harsh Swaledale winter.

Away from Anty John's, the family will continue daily life at Ravenseat, with Christmas celebrations and the Easter lambing season both set to feature.

Amanda, Clive and their children will continue caring for their large flock of sheep alongside cows, goats, horses and ponies, peacocks and chickens.

The new series will therefore show Anty John's moving closer to becoming a home while Ravenseat remains at the centre of the family's working life.
