A group of protestors shouted “no to racism” in York city centre today as Young Bob (Thomas Moffitt) who attempted to engage with the public on Parliament Street.
He set up a gazebo covered in the British flag and a camera on a tripod to record his interactions – which he usually posts online.
Mr Moffitt is known for his anti-immigration views. He describes himself as a Christian Pro-life supported of Remigration.

Members of the York Stand Up To Racism group, and some members of the public who had been passing by, assembled and started to chant “Whose streets? Our streets”
They had signs with messages such as ‘Refugees welcome’ and ‘Women against the far right’.
“We just got as many people as possible to try and shout him off the street, which has worked,” a member of York Stand Up To Racism told YorkMix.
“We drown them out because you can’t let them debate – they cannot have a platform because racism is not debatable, in my eyes.”
On his X account, Young Bob said: “Not one member of the unwashed was able to get close to Bob”
The gazebo was eventually taken down and the police were seen standing around Young Bob.
