Grammy award-nominated and chart-topping multi-platinum artist Alex Warren will head to the North Yorkshire coast next summer as part of his 2027 world tour.
Warren is playing seven dates in the UK and Ireland as part of the Finding (More) Family On The Road world tour – including a night at Scarborough Open Air Theatre onWednesday 30 June.
Tickets will go on general sale at 10am Friday 2 October via the Scarborough OAT website.
The announcement follows another extraordinary year for Warren. In August he released his second album, WILDCHILD, a deeply personal record that looks back at his childhood, his parents and the experiences that have shaped him, while pushing his widescreen pop sound into a new territory.
The album features Nile Rodgers on Emerald Eyes and John Mayer on its closing title track.
WILDCHILD topped the charts in several countries, including the UK and US, following the success ofOrdinary, the song that transformed Warren into one of pop’s biggest new global stars.
That success has been matched by Warren’s rapid rise as a live artist. He has headlined sold-out arena tours around the world and appeared on the GRAMMY Awards, MTV VMAs and American Music Awards, as well as performing at some of the world’s biggest festivals.
Julian Murray of promoters Cuffe and Taylor, venue programmers at Scarborough OAT, said: “Alex Warren has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last couple of years and is recognised as one of the most celebrated artists of the moment.
“This will be a huge night for Scarborough, and we are delighted to be bringing him to the Yorkshire coast as part of his world tour.”
Alex Warren is the latest artist announced for 2027 at Scarborough OAT which will also see headliner shows from Kaiser Chiefs, Alfie Boe, Ronan Keating, Jack Savoretti and James Morrison, and Simply Red.
