A sixth defendant, Khalid Mahmood, 45, of HMP Ashfield near Bristol, also faces a charge of rape.

He will attend a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 13.

When will the trial take place?

His Honour Judge Richard Gioserano set a four-week trial to begin on June 7, 2027.

He said: “Your cases are all now listed together for one trial. That’s the position at the moment.

“That is a really important date.

“You must all remember that date.

"You must all be here for that otherwise the trial can proceed in your absence.”

All five defendants were released on conditional bail.
