Tesco shoppers have been told to stop using a product immediately after safety concerns sparked a recall across UK supermarkets.
The supermarket giant has warned customers not to use the F&F Home Glass Latte Mug sold in stores across the country because of a “manufacturing issue”.
All batches of the mug sold between September 2025, and August 2026 are impacted by the recall.
The manufacturing issue means the glass is prone to breaking during “normal use”, potentially injuring shoppers.
A Tesco statement said: “As a precautionary measure, Tesco is recalling all batches of its F&F Home Glass Latte Mug purchased between September 2025 to August 2026 inclusive.
“This is due to a manufacturing issue that may cause the glass mug to break during normal use, posing a risk of injury.
“If you have purchased the product affected, please do not use it and instead return it to any Tesco store for a full refund.
“No receipt is required. Use our store locator to find your nearest Tesco UK or Tesco Ireland store.
“If you need more information, you can find a range of ways to get in touch via our contact us page.
“If you are in Ireland, please contact Tesco Customer Services on 1800 248 123.
“No other Tesco products are affected by this recall. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

Sainsbury's and Argos recall
Three tote bags sold by Sainsbury’s and Argos have been urgently recalled due to a serious chemical risk.
The bags, part of the Tu range, were found to contain excessive concentrations of phthalates, chemical compounds used to soften plastics that may pose health risks, particularly to children.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: "Sainsbury’s are recalling the above products due to excessive concentrations of phthalates, which pose a chemical safety risk.
"Prolonged exposure to phthalates may be harmful to human health.
"As a result, the products don't meet Sainsbury’s safety requirements.
"We're asking customers who have purchased any of these items to stop using them and return them to their local Sainsbury’s store for a full refund."
The recall affects the Tu Pu Tan Curved Top Shopper (item number 147160412), the Tu Black Croc Winged Tote Bag (item number 147166081), and the Tu Brown Belt Handled Core Shopper (item number 147789704).
These bags were available from selected Sainsbury’s stores, the Tu website, and the Argos website.
