A busy North East road link will close for a weekend while engineers repair a key bridge junction, according to a public notice.
The A66 eastbound-to-A19 southbound link road near Stockton Road Interchange will shut from 8pm on Friday, October 23, until 6am on Monday, October 26.
National Highways is repairing the bridge joint, and the work could run over several weekends if necessary.

The closure will keep workers safe, and drivers will be directed along a signed diversion.
The closure does not apply to emergency vehicles, repair crews, winter maintenance teams or traffic officers on duty.
The closure order takes effect on October 22 and can remain in force for up to 18 months if needed.
