Artisan markets return to Harrogate and Knaresborough for autumn weekend

Little Bird Made will bring its artisan markets to Knaresborough and Harrogate this October.

Artisan markets and autumn strolls are set to delight visitors in a celebration of seasonal charm and creativity.

Little Bird Made will bring its artisan markets to Knaresborough on Saturday, October 3, and Harrogate on Sunday, October 4, offering a weekend of handmade crafts, food, and outdoor shopping in scenic North Yorkshire settings.

Jackie Crozier, managing director of Little Bird Made, said: "October is our favourite time of year to bring our markets to North Yorkshire.

"Both Knaresborough Castle and Harrogate’s Valley Gardens offer truly breathtaking backdrops as the autumn leaves begin to turn.

"It is a wonderful opportunity for families and visitors to spend the day outdoors exploring these iconic grounds, taking in the panoramic views, and discovering exceptional handmade goods from local independent makers that you simply won’t find anywhere else."

The Knaresborough market will run from 10am to 3pm on the castle grounds, overlooking the River Nidd and viaduct.

Visitors can browse stalls featuring crafts, art, photography, and delicious food and drinks.

On Sunday, the market will move to Harrogate’s Valley Gardens, where shoppers can explore tree-lined paths and meet independent makers.

The event offers a chance to enjoy the changing autumn landscape while supporting small businesses.
