A networking event will return to York this autumn.

SUPERNetworking 2026, designed for business leaders, owners, and professionals across York and North Yorkshire, will take place on Wednesday, November 4, from 9.30am to 3.30pm at the Novotel York Centre.

The event, organised by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Crombie Wilkinson Solicitors and Gravitax, promises a full day of networking, expert insights, and practical business advice.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: "The day will feature a busy Business Marketplace, opportunities to network with local businesses and two business panel discussions focused on helping organisations navigate today's challenges while preparing for the opportunities and risks of tomorrow."

Highlights of the event include panel discussions with industry experts, trade stands, and the chance to seek advice from specialists on topics ranging from accounts and law to recruitment and growth strategies.

Attendees will also be able to network over lunch in a relaxed setting.

New for 2026 is the SUPERNetworking Sprint, a high-energy, structured networking session at 10.30am designed to help attendees make fast, purposeful connections.

The spokesperson said: "Think musical chairs without the music – just energy, momentum, and purposeful conversations.

"Get the intro's out the way and utilise lunch to build deeper connections."

The Business Marketplace will showcase organisations from a variety of sectors, giving delegates the chance to explore new products, services, and collaborations.

Organisers say the event is a valuable opportunity for the York business community to come together, share experiences, and strengthen professional relationships.

The spokesperson said: "Whether attendees are looking to expand their network, discover new opportunities, gain expert insight or future-proof their organisation, the event offers a unique platform to connect with fellow professionals and local business experts."

Demand for places is expected to be high, so early booking is advised.
