The former Leeds Rhinos star received a warm welcome on Tuesday (Sep 29) before setting off for Wakefield Trinity's DIY Kitchens Stadium.
Sir Kevin was due to receive a blessing from the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, before continuing his latest ultra marathon through Yorkshire's rugby league communities.
His final 7 in 7 challenge will see him complete seven ultra marathons in seven days to raise money and awareness for the motor neurone disease (MND) community.
Inspired by his late friend and former teammate Rob Burrow, Sir Kevin has helped raise more than £11 million for MND causes since beginning his annual fundraising challenges in 2020.
His latest challenge will conclude at Old Trafford ahead of the Super League Grand Final.
