A company has opened an expanded centre following a six-figure investment.
EGO Technology’s Bradford facility was officially opened on September 25 by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Sir Chris Herd, as part of the company’s growing investment in the city.
The company plans to create 36 new jobs over the next 12 to 24 months, adding to its current team of 24 employees.
Ian Austin, group chief executive at EGO Technology, said: "Bradford was built by pioneers, industrialists, innovators and philanthropists who created opportunity and lasting change.
"At EGO Technology, we’re proud to carry that spirit forward.
"Our investment in Bradford is about much more than increasing our processing capacity.
"We’re creating jobs, developing skills, investing in our communities and building the infrastructure needed to keep more technology and valuable resources in circulation.
"We want to build an operation here that creates a lasting legacy for Bradford and for generations to come."

The company expects to offer roles across technical, processing, engineering, environmental and logistics fields, including positions such as processing technicians, IT and device technicians, and repair and refurbishment engineers.
It will also focus on training in safe WEEE processing, data security, material recovery, testing and refurbishment.
The site currently processes around 170 to 190 tonnes of waste equipment a month, with capacity expected to rise to between 250 and 380 tonnes within a year.
The facility is part of EGO Technology’s broader approach to managing the lifecycle of redundant business technology, working alongside its Technology Recovery Centre in Burton upon Trent.
Together, the sites support clients with secure IT asset disposal, data management, refurbishment, and material recovery.
Councillor Sir Chris Herd said: "It was a pleasure to officially open EGO Technology’s new facility and see first-hand the investment being made here in Bradford.
"It’s particularly encouraging to see a business investing not only in new technology and sustainable practices, but in local jobs, skills and opportunities for people in our district.
"I wish the team every success as they continue to grow their operation in Bradford."
EGO Technology is also working with the Department for Work and Pensions to support employment pathways for young people in the area.
This is part of its wider social value work, which includes expanding prison training workshops to help individuals gain practical skills and confidence for employment.
