A café found in the Yorkshire Dales has been described as “one of the cutest hidden gems” in the area.
If you are looking for a spot to stop off and relax in while on a hike through the national park, you might want to try The Old Sawmill Café.
The café is right next to the entrance to the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail making it the ideal spot to refuel before a long walk.
What is The Old Sawmill Café like?
The Old Sawmill Café offers a breakfast menu featuring classic options like its breakfast bap, eggs Benedict, and waffle that comes with Greek yoghurt, chia seeds, granola, banana, honey and raspberry coulis.
The café also has a few lunch options, including burgers and paninis and a range of sandwiches with a range of fillings to choose from.
There are plenty of sweet treats to pick up as well from brownies to slices of cheesecake that can be enjoyed with a hot coffee.
If you are lucky with the weather, you can sit in the “picturesque garden” where you can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.
The café was visited by TikTok content creator, Jodie Rapsonn, who is searching for the best coffee shops around the UK.
She said: “The Old Sawmill Café in Clapham is so much more than just a coffee shop.
“Set inside a former working sawmill, the original machinery and history have been kept inside, making it such a unique little place to explore while you grab a coffee, cake or lunch.”
Jodie added that the brookie “did not disappoint”.
If you want to make a day out of your visit, you can opt for the afternoon tea where you will get fresh scones, sausage rolls, pork pies, sandwiches, and slices of cake.

One person said: “We really enjoyed this cafe, the staff were lovely.
“I had a club sandwich, yummy bacon and chicken on delicious fresh grain sourdough.
“My husband had beans & 3 slices crispy bacon on the same bread.
“Shared crispy fresh cooked chips. We’ll def go back.”
Another person said: “Came for lunch, absolutely stunning find while on holiday.
“Had burger chips and soup of the day, great service great food, chips are very nice.
