A Harrogate-based fire protection specialist has completed a series of projects in the higher education sector.
Adaston delivered fire door and fire-stopping works at a London and a Yorkshire university over the summer, valued at a combined £800,000.
The work marks the third consecutive year the company has been appointed by both institutions, highlighting what it calls growing confidence in its expertise.
Paul Ward, acting managing director of Adaston, said: "Completing these projects successfully over the summer demonstrates the confidence that universities place in Adaston to deliver technically complex passive fire protection work safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.
"Perhaps most pleasing is the level of repeat business.
"Being appointed for a third consecutive year at both universities is a strong endorsement of the quality of our work and the relationships we have built with our clients."
The projects included two fire-stopping schemes at a Yorkshire university, together valued at £500,000.
These were secured through a competitive framework, underlining the university’s ongoing trust in Adaston’s technical capabilities.
Mr Ward added: "Higher education estates present unique challenges.
"Many buildings remain occupied throughout the year, while student accommodation projects often have very tight delivery programmes between academic terms.
"Our teams understand those pressures and have developed a reputation for delivering compliant fire safety solutions while working around the operational needs of our clients.
"As we continue to grow nationally, repeat business remains one of the strongest indicators that our approach is delivering value as well as compliance."
The latest projects add to Adaston’s ongoing expansion in the commercial, public sector, and higher education markets.
They also support the firm’s current financial year momentum, with repeat clients and framework appointments becoming a key part of its national growth strategy.
