POLICE are appealing for information after a theft from an accommodation block in York.
The incident took place between 10pm on Saturday, August 29, and 3.30am on Sunday, August 30, from a student residence in Lawrence Street.
North Yorkshire Police said belongings were left on a communal landing by a resident while they were moving into their flat.
A force spokesperson said items and cash totalling more than £1,500 were taken.
As part of the investigation, North Yorkshire Police has released a CCTV image of two people the force believes may have information that could assist with enquiries.
