A Manchester United legend enjoyed food at a much-loved restaurant over the weekend.
Andrew Cole, who is the fifth highest scorer in Premier League history, visited Ricci’s Place in Halifax town centre.
The former Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers and Red Devils striker went to the Italian for lunch.
Ricci's confirmed Cole - who bagged 187 Premier League goals, won five titles and captured a Champions League trophy - opted for the steak gnocchi in peppercorn sauce and "loved it".
Gary Neville visits
It is not the first time the restaurant has served an Old Trafford stalwart.
Gary Neville, of Sky Sports fame, ate a lamb ragu and gnocchi special at the spot earlier this year.
The owner of Ricci’s Place, Michael, said it was nice to have him at the restaurant once again.
He had reportedly told staff that he would be returning after enjoying his last visit in June last year.
“He loved it,” Michael told the T&A.
The restaurant previously fed the Hollywood Vampires when they performed at The Piece Hall in August.
It posted on Facebook: "Steak and tempura prawns for Johnny Depp backstage at The Piece Hall.
"Not your average Saturday night."
