A broken-down jet ski left two people stranded off the North East coast.
Redcar RNLI was called out at 4.33pm on Saturday, September 26, to assist two casualties half a mile offshore atMarske.
The pair, who were being helped by a kayaker trying to tow them ashore, were found cold but otherwise well.
Mike Picknett, lifeboat operations manager at Redcar RNLI, said: "It was good to see that both casualties were wearing lifejackets.
"You should always carry a means of calling for help and it is vital to make sure that your engine is well maintained and that you have enough fuel for your journey."
The casualties were brought on board the Atlantic 85 Leicester Challenge III lifeboat and returned safely to shore at Marske.
The kayaker who assisted them continued safely on his journey.
