Born in Newcastle, Satterley began his professional wrestling career in 2004 and quickly established himself as a standout talent on the North East independent wrestling circuit.

He was particularly well known on the Teesside wrestling scene, where he became a familiar face to local fans long before his rise to international stardom.

One Teesside wrestling fan remembered Satterley on Facebook, writing: "For wrestling fans in Teesside and the wider North East, PAC may already have been a familiar face long before his international success.

"He was a regular with promotions such as Three Count Wrestling between 2005 and 2008, so if you attended local shows during that period, there's a good chance you saw him in action."

His high-flying style, athleticism and in-ring ability helped make him one of the UK's leading wrestling stars before he went on to compete on the global stage.

Satterley joined WWE in 2012, initially wrestling in its developmental system before making his name as Neville.

During his time with WWE, he won championship gold and became renowned for his spectacular aerial offence.
