One of the BBC's best-known political is returning to County Durham for the first time in four years.
Question Time is heading to Peterlee , giving residents the chance to put questions directly to politicians and commentators in front of a national television audience.
Fiona Bruce will host the show from the East Durham town on Thursday, October 8, with audience applications now open.
The visit marks the programme's first appearance in County Durham since a broadcast from Bishop Auckland in December 2022.
The panel included then Hexham MP Guy Opperman, Labour's Lucy Powell, SNP politician Stewart Hosie, journalist Isabel Oakeshott and fashion designer Patrick Grant.
