Giveaways for Harrogate customers promised when shop's rebranding is completed

A Harrogate town centre shop has closed but it will reopen with giveaways for customers after a refurbishment and rebranding.

Chain stores can seem a bit of an endangered species in Harrogate’s high street but the closure of Clintons greetings card shop is a rarity.

The closure of the famous brand’s Harrogate store and the “stock clearance – up to 70% off” signs – do not signal its demise.

A store rebranding event will take place on Saturday, October 10 when its reopening will accompanied by a special customer event.

The first 300 customers will receive a free goody bag when they spend £10, including a tote bag, card, A4 stationery and a Popplin.

Doors will be open at Clintons store at 23, 23a & 25 Cambridge Street from 9am.

Established in 1968, Clintons operates approximately 150 stores across the UK following a series of recent high street branch closures.
