A York hair and beauty salon has celebrated 30 successful years.
Kudos is based in Goodramgate and is owned by Samantha and Simon Newall.
Samantha said: “The whole Kudos team enjoyed socialising with everyone and giving hair care advise in between handing out glasses of fizz and ensuring everyone enjoyed the delicious food that we had provided from Picnics and Parties.
“Simon and I were so overwhelmed when our team handed us a huge card made up of photos from over the years at kudos and a very generous voucher for us to have a wonderful meal out.

Samantha continued: “What started back in 1995 as only my husband and I renting a property on Lord Mayors Walk, has grown into a much-loved local business, and we're incredibly proud to have been part of the community for three decades.

“We moved into new premises on Goodramgate in 2006, a few months after our first child was born.
"We now have 14 members of staff."
“Over the years, we've had the pleasure of looking after generations of local customers – from people who first visited us when we opened, to their children and grandchildren today.”
