Drivers are being warned that a traveller horse and trap procession could slow things down on a few York roads today.
Police say they’ve been made aware of the event happening today, Sunday (27 September).
They say the exact details, times and routes are yet to be established.
In a community message, police said they were sharing the information they had to “allow members of the public to make plans to minimise disruption to their daily activities”.
They added: “Last year when this took place the route started at 11am, James Street onto Huntington Road, stopping off at the HogsHead Pub, Huntington Road, through New Earswick onto the A1237 towards Clifton Moor and onto Water Lane and into Acomb finishing in Acomb at 4pm at the Beagle pub, Foxwood Lane.”
