An incident in Bradford city centre led to a road closure and a substantial police presence this morning.

A police cordon was put in place near Sackville Street and Grattan Road, closing off part of the area around the Army recruitment centre.

Images shared on social media showed multiple police vehicles at the scene, with at least three patrol cars and a number of officers in attendance.

No details have yet been released about the nature of the incident.

When the Telegraph & Argus visited the area at around 1.30pm, the cordon had been removed and the road had reopened.

The Telegraph & Argus has approached West Yorkshire Police for further information.
