A DOCUMENTARY exploring the climate and nature crisis will be screened at Bradford City Hall later this month.
Organised by Green Party councillors and open to the public, the free screening of People’s Emergency Briefing will take place in the Banqueting Suite at 7pm on Wednesday, September 30.
The 50-minute film features nine UK scientists and experts, including broadcaster Chris Packham, and examines the impact of the climate crisis on daily life in the UK.
Councillor Kevin Warnes, who represents Shipley, said: "The climate and nature crisis is already affecting people’s lives, from extreme weather to rising costs.
"This film is a chance to understand the evidence and talk about what it means for Bradford."
The screening will be followed by a public discussion focused on the risks facing Bradford communities.
Entry is free, but space is limited and advance booking is advised HERE.
Councillor Lottie Kitchen said the event was an opportunity for an "open and informed discussion."
